Is it worth it to have Look Smart and Yahoo pay per click?
7 years ago we listed with Look Smart and have been with Yahoo pay-per-click for about 4 years. We are on a tight budget and want to discontinue this service. Our clicking budget is not huge, will this hurt our business? I am assuming that our name is out on different search engines. Thank you!

- Your overall link profile of your site will go down, which may cause your natural organic rankings to go down. you can check your sites rankings in many ways. The simplest way is to just type www.domainname.com into the search box. If you want to see which pages of your website are in google's index you would type site:domainname.com Supplying your domain name would be a great help. Either way if I had 1 choice for PPC, I would choose Google Adwords. And if you can't compete due to budget restrictions I would focus my efforts on Search Engine Optimization and Internet Marketing. Their is an initial cost to do this, but this will give you some options. You could have an SEO consultant just give you guidance and you or your webmaster could implement the changes/suggestions. You could give the SEO your monthly PPC budget to start building your online presence. If you can't do that I would recommend purchasing two products that will increase your knowledge enough to perform your own seo. I personally use both of these products and am only offering these as an option. http://www.seobook.com/2807-0-1-13.html http://www.soloseo.com/aff/idevaffiliate.php?id=191_1_1_5 Just some ideas Good luck Chadwick
